Orange Juice Encounter: My Moment with Pikotaro

There was plenty to enjoy at this year's Grammy Awards, including Adele (and her infamous George Michael do-over), Beyonce, A Tribe Called Quest, Katy Perry and more. James Corden was a deft host, and the show hummed. (Read my recap here.)

But for me, the best moment at Staples Center happened in the hallway, when I happened upon Japanese comedian – and Internet sensation – Pikotaro. You know, the guy behind "PPAP" and "I Like Orange Juice":



Pikotaro was stopped by a few people (no surprise, his videos have been seen by millions), but his manager asked me how I knew who he was. "YouTube, of course!"
